TDP holds state-wide bandh in AP; N Chandrababu shifted to Rajahmundry Central Prison

AP Crime Investigation Department has alleged that former CM N Chandrababu Naidu was the principal conspirator in the Rs 371 crore skill development scam and named him as A-1 (accused No. 1) in the case.CID said GO No. 4 was issued on June 30, 2015, under Naidu’s clear instructions, intending to cause loss to the public exchequer and gain to private individuals.”According to the investigation so far, the total amount spent by private entities on six skill development clusters is sourced exclusively from funds advanced by the AP government and AP State Skill Development Corporation, totalling Rs 371 crore. Further, investigation revealed that a significant portion of this money was diverted to shell companies through fake invoices, with no actual delivery or sale of the items specified in the invoices,” alleged CID in its remand report.
